The past four months I have been on a wild ride with 41 other souls as we all endeavored to find joy, our true selves, freedom and authentic leadership in our lives. During this MITT leadership training, I broke down and broke through more times than I can count. I cried. I screamed. I let go. I discovered what surrender feels like. I shared and healed my wounds. I learned how to trust. I became vulnerable. The roller coaster ride ended on Sunday. As intense and difficult a journey as it was, I wouldn't change it for anything. My family has expanded by 41 people and my heart has grown ten fold. And I discovered who I really am, not who I want you to see. Last week, our 4 months culminated into a community service project that we did for the homeless people at Skid Row in Gladys Park. This day has forever changed my life. I produced this video to share our legacy and tell our story.
What we created is a movement intended to change the lives of adults and children dealing with homelessness in the Los Angeles area. The event was held on Thursday, June 9th, 2016 from 12pm to 5pm. The intent was to create a vehicle for homeless people to receive an outer transformation through grooming and an upgrade in clothing. As well as an inner transformation through different modalities such as art, meditation, massage, dentistry, food, nutrition and much more. We had some great things donated for our goodie bags from food to pillows, as well as some generous donations totaling $9K. And the event was a huge success!
I am still requesting support!
We have 501(c)(3) status. Do you want to donate $250 or more to our cause? Every donation matters. Everyone's life matters. Feeling humbled and thrilled to be working on this project. I ask for your support. Make a difference with me.
